Nerando Johnson

I am a community-focused software engineer that focuses on using code as a tool to bring people together. I have in-depth knowledge and applied skills in the MERN and React/Rails ecosystems, I also to continue to grow my skill set. I also have experience in mentoring and educating other developers. I am the current lead organizer for Atlanta's freeCodeCamp meetup, a non-profit that teaches people how to code for free. I am interested in joining a team that values willingness to do the work to up-skill as needed to become an asset as soon as possible while thinking about emphatic ways to make our team better stewards to the community at large.
