A big part of DevOps is delivering value constantly, which can cause issues if your deployments cause downtime. Architecting for zero downtime is becoming more important, especially with database changes. This session will discuss the challenges of database deployments and protecting customer data while presenting patterns and practices that can be used to approach new zero downtime deployments for your applications. We will demo four types of changes with a live application running.
