Azure Stack in Your Pack
The Azure Stack Development Kit (ASDK) is a full implementation of Azure Stack which can be helpful for prototyping private and hybrid cloud workload destined for Azure Stack Hub, Azure Stack HCI, Azure Stack Edge, and/or Azure cloud. In this 300-level technical session we will unpack the ASDK and review what you will need to get started, what value it provides for developers/operations, and what you can learn about Azure by conducting experiments. We will start with outlining what runtime resources you will need including prerequisites. We will take a lap though ASDK resource providers including Azure App Service and what it takes to get PaaS on your box. We will then turn to extension enablement in ASDK including how you can run Azure Arc workloads. We will also review how ASDK can enable Service Fabric, and Machine Learning, and other PaaS friendly capabilities.
Prerequisites
Some Azure cloud experience is recommended but not required
Take Aways
- Learn what kind of resources do I need to deploy the ASDK
- Understand hat role does ASDK for development, operations and learning Azure in general
- Explore various kinds of experiments can I run on the ASDK
