Can your robot do the mashed potato, can your robot do the twist? If not get ready to learn. Like a well-choreographed dance, there will be multiple steps. We will begin with making the robots move, moonwalk, and groove. We will turn classic dance moves and our own new dance moves into functions. Afterward, we will incorporate colorful lights and fun music to create an atmosphere. In the end, there will be free time to mix and match your dance move functions to create your own custom series of moves and have one big disco.

Prerequisites

This class assumes that you have dabbled in block-based programming, maybe you have played around with scratch before, you don't need to know anything complicated, but just have a general understanding of block coding. All you need to bring is your own computer; the robots will be supplied, and you will be coding on the browser makecode.org.

Take Aways
