Pragmatic builds with Apache Maven

The talk explains the basic functionality of Apache Maven and deepens it with the help of a step-by-step live coding example. Best practices in dealing with Apache Maven are presented with examples from project practice. In the end, we developed a pragmatic pom.xml that contains all the learnings from this session. You will take away some tips and plugins that you can use right away in your projects to make your day-to-day work with Apache Maven more fun. This talk is for everybody that runs maven builds and wants to find out what all the stuff in the pom.xml file means and why it's there.
