Android has come a very long way the past 12+ years and the dev experience is no different. What used to be a nightmare of verbose classes and heavy Activities now instead is truly enjoyable. Kotlin offers a number of great features wrapped up in a beautiful syntax while Jetpack comes with libraries, extension functions, and guidance directly from the Android team. We'll talk all about what's available, what's great, and what you can do to make your Android apps better.

Prerequisites

No previous Android experience is required, but attendees having done Android before (especially a while ago) will appreciate the new features more.
