Let's make a tiny dancer, or tiny spinning human if you prefer. We'll learn about electricity, specifically how direct current works, what the Lorentz effect is, and how a homopolar motor works. We'll throw in some art by making our dancer a costume and bending them into the dancer shape. Of course, we'll have some dancing music too! Get up and join your dancer in dancing if you want, but no need to spin too much, our tiny dancers will be doing plenty of that without any help from us!
Prerequisites
This activity is recommended for ages 6 and up. This activity involves strong magnets and must not be swallowed or put in the mouth, so our youngest geeklings may want to sit this one out.
