Having made a successful transition into the tech industry later in my career, I now work as a Global Technologist at Veeam, specializing in Cloud and Cloud Native technologies. I'm truly passionate about sharing my journey, and knowledge, and assisting others in achieving similar career transitions. I am also committed to empowering communities as an AWS Community Builder, a CNCF Ambassador, a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador, a Civo Ambassador and Girl Code Ambassador. Additionally, I organize the KCD NY, NY Code & Coffee Meetup and KubeHuddle conference, further fostering collaboration and learning opportunities.

I have a deep interest in exploring different cultures, languages, and traveling. Growing up in a multilingual household where both Portuguese and French were spoken, and now residing in the United States, I cherish the diverse cultural landscape and love immersing myself in it.

I love cooking, especially anything that involves using butter. Ever since I was little, I learned the art of French cooking from my grandmother. To this day, I cook the recipes she taught me, and adventure myself in the kitchen to come up with new creations, blending the traditional techniques with my own innovations.
